Lost Property Policy


Warrington Travel accept NO responsibility for any items left or lost in ANY of our vehicles.

 

It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure when alighting the vehicle they have all their property with them. Any lost property handed in to our drivers will be recorded and by our Opererators Licence agreement with Warrington Borough Council handed to Warrington Police Station (Located on Arpley Street, Warrington) 
 

We accept no responsibility for any items found to be damaged or not able to be located within our vehicles and drivers will hand back any found property as soon as is practicable when they are next on shift. 
 

Drivers will not deliver property free of charge back to it's owner and the cost for this would have to be borne by the owner. (This cost is the fare from our Base to the customer at the time of delivery)
 

Items such as Passports and Credit Cards (where we have not been able to trace an owner) will be handed to Warrington Police to dispose of.

 

Warrington Travel Accept NO responsibility for any items left or lost in ANY of our vehicles and under the data protection act will NOT release any information of customers entering and alighting the cars after an item has been lost.
